Sun (identity, ego) joins Mercury (thoughts, communications, journeys) and Mars (energy, drive) in the tumultuous waters of Scorpio on Monday October 23. During this four week period, we’ll be led through our deepest cravings and darkest desires. We’ll secure our needs through determination and stabilization with the powerful Lunar Eclipse/Taurus Full Moon on Saturday October 28. Intentions from the Solar Eclipse/Libra New Moon will come to a peak, as secrets and the unknown are revealed. Full Moons tend to bring a process for letting go, along with endings and death; while eclipses are intensely charged with crisis, chaos, change and transformation. With a gambling Mars/Jupiter opposition and the hopeful Mercury/Jupiter opposition also on Saturday, we may want to ask ourselves, ‘how can I benefit from this ultimate sacrifice… so that my inner phoenix can rise from its ashes’? Or ‘how can I transform myself from a dead weed; back into a beautiful wildflower?
