While we’re still catching our breath from Mercury retrograde, Pluto retrograde, Lunar Eclipse, Solar Eclipse, Pluto entering Aquarius and Saturn in Pisces… Jupiter (expansion, abundance, fortune) will be leaving warrior Aries after a year, to join Uranus (change, truth, awakenings) and settle into earthy Taurus for the next twelve months, on Tuesday May 16. This energy can provide us an opportunity for growth; through patience, determination, stabilization and trust. It’s wise to stay productive between what is being built, flourishing and pleasurable. On the shadow side of this energy, we may experience laziness, irresponsibility, caution and greed. What we hold (good or ‘not so good’) is bound to multiply, so remember to share and/or practice weeding - to strengthen balance.

As we collect valuable information and work with our own resources, we’re encourage to ponder, imagine, dream and make wishes as the New Moon joins Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus on Friday May 19. Plant seeds of intention to create new beginnings and fresh start-ups for order, values, steadiness, affection, love, financial growth and generosity.
As we make an effort to pursue our hopes and dreams, Mars will leave gentle Cancer, and enter passionate Leo, on Saturday May 20. We’ll have the next six weeks to get where we’re going through our ability to chase and create. We can experience high-spirited action, strong will, fearlessness and raw desire. The dark side of this energy holds arrogance, jealousy, conceit and brutality. Negativity will attract negativity, so make an effort to choose positivity, honesty and respect.
In our attempt to shine in our own light, Sun (identity, ego) will move from stubborn Taurus, and shift into flexible Gemini, on Sunday May 21. During the next four weeks, we can experience a burst of imagination, with, perception, cleverness and resourcefulness. Otherwise, we could suffer from the lower frequency of this vibration through indecisiveness, shiftiness, sarcasm, constant chattering and gossip.

Life continues to shift in big ways; we’ll be forced to stay present and evolve between a thunderous Jupiter/Pluto square on Wednesday May 17 and a ruthless Mars/Pluto opposition on Saturday May 20. Through mindfulness and deep observation, we need to be aware of our current thoughts and how they are powerfully molding the magick of new moon intentions. So as we attempt to move gracefully through the ashes of recent choices and redeem ourselves; we’ll either assume the victim role and give up entirely… or we’ll listen to our heart, which will help us fight hard and rise from the ruins. If we’re willing to listen, learn and get out of our own way, then we have the ability to create a better tomorrow.
